FedEx Launches Collaborative Shipping Tool in Malaysia to Enhance Import Efficiency

FedEx has introduced the Collaborative Shipping Tool in Malaysia, a digital solution aimed at streamlining the import process by improving coordination between importers and shippers. The tool facilitates real-time Airway Bill (AWB) collaboration, enhancing shipment visibility and increasing the success rate of pickups.

With imports in Asia expected to grow by 5.1% in 2025, the tool addresses common logistics challenges such as failed pickups and lack of shipment visibility. By leveraging digital innovation, FedEx aims to optimize global supply chains and reduce inefficiencies.

“The Collaborative Shipping Tool fosters seamless collaboration between importers and shippers, allowing businesses to optimize their supply chains and reduce inefficiencies,” said Salil Chari, Senior Vice President of Marketing and Customer Experience, FedEx Asia Pacific.
