Datuk Nora Ariffin and Birkin International Hotel bring pre-festive cheer to orphans

On March 12, 2025, Birkin International Hotel in Malacca hosted a heartwarming iftar for 35 orphans and 15 caretakers from Rumah Anak-Anak Yatim Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah Al-Haj (RAYSAS).

The event, held at Birkin Kitchen, featured a pre-festive buffet, traditional performances, and a soulful appearance by Datuk Nora Ariffin, who sang hits like ‘Dilema’ and ‘Suasana Hari Raya.’ RAYSAS, founded in 2002 with support from Tun Seri Setia Haji Mohd Ali bin Mohd Rustam, nurtures underprivileged children.

Orphans delight

The evening included prayers, ghazal music, and festive hampers, fostering joy and community spirit. General Manager Simon Tan emphasized sustainable giving.
