Fortinet Named Leader in 2025 Gartner Magic Quadrant for Hybrid Mesh Firewall
KUALA LUMPUR, May 22 — Fortinet has warned that cybersecurity complexity and AI-driven threats are overwhelming organizations across Malaysia and the wider Asia Pacific region, exposing growing gaps in operational readiness.
A study conducted by Forrester Consulting found that 70% of organizations identified AI-driven threats as a major concern, while 64% cited fragmented security tools and 63% pointed to excessive alert volumes as key operational challenges.
The report revealed that 55% of organizations struggle to distinguish genuine threats due to alert overload, while 52% still depend on manual workflows. Only 16% of organizations surveyed were considered to have advanced cybersecurity maturity.
As cyber risks rise, businesses are increasingly shifting toward unified, platform-based security architectures to improve visibility, automate Security Operations Centre functions and enhance threat response efficiency despite concerns over migration costs and integration capabilities.
