Next DLP, recognized for its innovative technology, provides a cloud-native SaaS data protection platform that spans from endpoint to cloud. The company has been acknowledged by industry analysts, being named a Representative Vendor in the 2023 Gartner® Market Guides for Data Loss Prevention and Insider Risk Management Solutions.
Fortinet plans to integrate Next DLP’s advanced data loss prevention capabilities into its security service edge (SSE) offering and broader Security Fabric. This integration is expected to enhance Fortinet’s Unified SASE solution, helping enterprises manage insider risk and protect data across various deployments.
Key figures from both companies have expressed optimism about the acquisition. Ken Xie, Fortinet’s CEO, emphasized that this move aligns with Fortinet’s strategy to provide top-tier security solutions, while Connie Stack, CEO of Next DLP, highlighted the potential to expand their data security solutions globally.
