Huawei Cloud Empowers Partners for Industry Digitisation Surge
Huawei Cloud recently hosted the APAC Partner Connection Summit 2024, underscoring the pivotal role of artificial intelligence (AI), deep collaboration with partners, and the establishment of a robust ecosystem foundation in propelling opportunities for industry digitization.
The event, held under the theme ‘Accelerate Intelligence with Everything as a Service,’ saw the participation of approximately 500 partners from over 13 countries, highlighting the significance of Huawei’s cloud services in the Asia Pacific region.
In her opening address, Jacqueline Shi, President of Huawei Cloud Computing Global Marketing and Sales Service Dept, attributed the substantial growth over the past four years to the unwavering support of partners. She noted a significant increase in the number of partners with annual revenues exceeding $10 million, $5 million, and $1 million in the Asia Pacific region.
Emphasizing the global infrastructure coverage of Huawei Cloud KooVerse and its role in facilitating secure and compliant local business exploration, Shi reiterated Huawei’s commitment to providing cutting-edge technologies and solutions.
Ken Kang, President of Huawei Cloud Computing Global Ecosystem Dept, outlined the key focus areas driving Huawei Cloud’s ecosystem strategy for 2024. With over 45,000 partners worldwide and a robust sales growth through online and offline channels, Huawei Cloud aims to deepen collaboration with developers and industry players across finance, retail, carrier, healthcare, education, and automobile sectors.
Zeng Xingyun, Huawei Cloud APAC President, highlighted the significant strides made in the Big Data & AI markets, with Huawei Cloud emerging as the fastest-growing mainstream cloud service provider in the Asia Pacific. Frost & Sullivan’s report recognized Huawei Cloud’s leadership in market performance, technical innovation, and customer services, further solidifying its position in the hybrid cloud markets across several countries.
Overall, the summit served as a platform to celebrate partner achievements, launch new products and solutions tailored for small and medium-sized businesses, and reinforce Huawei Cloud’s commitment to driving innovation and growth in the cloud computing landscape.
