Hyundai Unveils STARIA, TUCSON & SANTA FE in Malaysian Market Debut
Hyundai Motor Malaysia (HMY) has officially launched its local operations with the debut of three vehicles—the STARIA, the new TUCSON, and the All-new SANTA FE—marking a strategic expansion in the Malaysian market. Unveiled in Kuala Lumpur on July 2, the launch reaffirms Hyundai’s commitment to customer-centric innovation, mobility, and long-term investment in Malaysia.
The STARIA, priced from RM179,888, is a futuristic MPV available in 7- and 10-seater variants. With its spaceship-inspired silhouette, panoramic windows, and tech-packed interior—including a BOSE® 12-speaker system and Hyundai SmartSense suite—it’s tailored for families and executive transport.
The TUCSON, starting at RM143,888, reinvents Hyundai’s best selling SUV with bold design and cutting-edge features like a panoramic curved display, fingerprint driver authentication, and a hybrid variant offered for the first time in Malaysia.
Meanwhile, the All-new SANTA FE makes a powerful entrance as Hyundai’s flagship SUV. Starting from RM225,000, it offers premium 6- and 7-seater configurations, advanced safety technologies like Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist (FCA 2.0), and first-in-class features such as a UV-C sanitiser tray and dual wireless charging. Its upright stance and large tailgate make it ideal for urban families and weekend explorers alike.
This triple launch not only showcases Hyundai’s design, comfort, and safety standards but also signals its push to strengthen its nationwide presence. With plans for 25 authorised service outlets by 2030 and robust warranty offerings, Hyundai aims to deepen connections with Malaysian customers and drive innovation that reflects their lifestyle needs.
