MACC carries another round of raids on Tan Sri’s house in Sukuk Fund misappropriation case

The Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) is investigating a Tan Sri for the alleged misappropriation of RM143 million in sukuk funds intended for a Klang Valley highway project. On June 19, 2025, MACC investigators visited the Tan Sri’s residence to record his statement, following sessions on June 11 and 12. The area was secured by auxiliary police. MACC chief Tan Sri Azam Baki identified the highway concessionaire as a key witness. The probe includes tracing luxury vehicles and properties, both locally and abroad, including in London and Switzerland.
