Medella Launches Malaysia’s First Red Palm & Coconut Cooking Oil

Medella has introduced Red Palm & Coconut Cooking Oil, a first-of-its-kind blend combining the benefits of red palm and coconut oil. This premium, nutrient-rich cooking oil is designed to promote better health, especially as Malaysians prepare for Hari Raya.

Red Palm Oil

Red palm oil is packed with antioxidants, provitamin A, and vitamin E, which support heart and eye health. Coconut oil contributes healthy fatty acids that boost good cholesterol and remain stable at high temperatures, making it ideal for frying.

The 50/50 blend is 100% natural, processed without chemicals to retain nutrients. Each 15g serving provides 4.5g of MCTs, 3.75mg of vitamin E, and 1.13mg of provitamin A, supporting a healthier diet amidst rising cases of diabetes, hypertension, and obesity in Malaysia.

The product was launched at Jaya Grocer, attended by Medella CEO Edwin Ong, Jaya Grocer CEO Daniel Teng, and CBO Joseph Teoh.
