ASNB declares 4.75% distribution for ASM 2 Wawasan

AMANAH Saham Nasional Bhd (ASNB) has declared a 4.75 sen per unit income distribution for Amanah Saham Malaysia 2 – Wawasan (ASM 2 Wawasan) for the fiscal year ending August 31, 2024. This payout totals RM1.13 billion and benefits 939,200 unitholders, offering a 4.75% return, surpassing the Maybank 12-Month Fixed Deposit benchmark of 2.71%.

The fund’s gross income reached RM1.54 billion, with a net realised income of RM1.27 billion. Income comes from capital gains, dividends, and various investments, including equities, real estate, and private equity. Income distribution will be reinvested into unitholders’ accounts starting September 1, 2024. Transactions will be suspended from August 30-31, 2024, and resume on September 1, 2024, via myASNB portal and other channels.
