KUALA LUMPUR: The Malaysian Rubber Board has activated the Rubber Production Incentive (RPI) scheme nationwide for December 2025, providing financial assistance to smallholders following a decline in average farmgate prices of cuplump rubber below the RM3 per kg activation level.
In December 2025, prices averaged RM2.95 per kg in Peninsular Malaysia, RM2.65 per kg in Sabah, and RM2.60 per kg in Sarawak.
Eligible cuplump smallholders in Peninsular Malaysia will receive 5-10 sen per kg based on dry rubber content, while those in Sabah get 35-70 sen per kg and in Sarawak 40-80 sen per kg. Latex smallholders nationwide are entitled to a fixed 90 sen per kg.
Payments to all qualified Malaysian rubber smallholders will be disbursed from January 1 to 31, 2026, based on December 2025 production.
