Selangor Dredging’s DaMai Project Records 80% Take-Up, Senai Lakeside Villas to Launch End-2025
KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 26 — Selangor Dredging Berhad (SDB) announced strong market response to its latest development, DaMai in Taman Melawati, achieving an 80% take-up rate for its first release of units since its unveiling in July 2025.
Billed as Malaysia’s first condominium with the “Parking at your doorstep” concept, DaMai redefines urban living by blending the privacy of landed homes with the convenience of condominiums. Units start from 2,000 sq ft, each with a minimum of three dedicated car parks allowing residents to park directly at their doorstep. The innovative “Landed Mid-Rise” design eliminates common parking inconveniences, while interiors and resort-style facilities enhance community living.
Managing Director Teh Lip Kim described DaMai as SDB’s most innovative project, reflecting the Group’s commitment to sustainability, relevance, and lifestyle innovation.
Looking ahead, SDB confirmed the upcoming launch of Senai, a 209-unit lakeside link-villa development in Taman Putra Perdana, Puchong, scheduled for end-2025. Designed as a gated and guarded community, Senai emphasises nature-inspired living and modern amenities.
During its 64th AGM, SDB also reported unbilled sales of RM105.88 million, with FY2025 net profit of RM21.92 million on RM375.95 million turnover.
