Snowflake Unveils Arctic Enterprise-Level Large Language Model Solution

Snowflake has launched Snowflake Arctic, an enterprise-grade large language model (LLM) known for its open architecture and efficient scalability. Arctic, featuring a Mixture-of-Experts (MoE) design, excels in intelligence and efficiency, setting new industry benchmarks.

Snowflake is making Arctic’s weights available under an Apache 2.0 license, along with training details, setting a new standard for openness in enterprise AI. CEO Sridhar Ramaswamy sees this as a milestone for Snowflake, advancing the capabilities of open source AI.

With Arctic, Snowflake aims to empower users worldwide by offering flexibility, choice, and seamless integration with various frameworks and platforms.
