KUALA LUMPUR, OCT 1 — Starbucks Malaysia and Tourism Malaysia have announced a strategic partnership to support the Visit Malaysia 2026 (VM2026) campaign. The collaboration was unveiled at a pre-launch event at Starbucks Reserve Shoppes, Four Seasons Place, and will feature exclusive merchandise, beverages, and food inspired by Malaysia’s cultural heritage. Carrying the VM2026 theme of “Surreal Experiences”, the partnership aims to spotlight Malaysia’s uniqueness globally.
Initial launches in October 2025 include limited-edition tumblers and locally inspired handcrafted beverages. In 2026, Starbucks will introduce nostalgic “bungkus” concept food, plushie mascots Wira and Manja, and campaign-themed Starbucks Cards.
Tourism Malaysia Director General Datuk Manoharan Periasamy said the partnership blends creative storytelling and iconic branding to showcase Malaysia’s diversity. Starbucks Malaysia CEO Dato’ Sydney Quays added the collaboration will connect customers worldwide with Malaysia’s flavors and experiences. Quarterly refreshes, artist collaborations, and flagship cultural destination stores will further enhance VM2026 throughout the year.
