Top Glove Garners Acclaim for Transformative Social Initiatives

Top Glove Corporation was recognized with the esteemed Distinguished Social & Community Care Award in the Company of the Year (Manufacturer: Rubber Gloves) category at the prestigious Sustainability & CSR Malaysia Awards 2023. The event took place at the Mandarin Oriental Kuala Lumpur on Wednesday, 26 July 2023.

Out of 55 outstanding companies from diverse industries acknowledged for their commendable community outreach efforts at the Sustainability & CSR Malaysia Awards 2023, Top Glove stood out as the sole glove manufacturer invited to participate. This year, the Awards also introduced a special recognition category to honor six individuals who have been champions of ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) and CSR causes.

Organized by CSR Malaysia publication and endorsed by Pertubuhan Amal Tanggungjawab Kemapanan & Korporat Malaysia (Corporate Sustainability & Responsibility Malaysia Welfare Society), the event aims to celebrate and promote corporate social responsibility initiatives.

The prestigious award was presented to Top Glove in recognition of its remarkable corporate social responsibility activities throughout the year 2022. These initiatives covered a wide range of endeavors, including charitable donations, programs to support the wellbeing of the elderly, blood donation campaigns, educational support for students in the B40 community, contributions during festive occasions, efforts in flood relief, and environmental programs.

Noteworthy, Top Glove’s contributions in terms of monetary aid, personal protective equipment (PPE), and philanthropic projects in the past year surpassed RM3 million.
