YY Circle Malaysia, the Malaysian subsidiary of Nasdaq-listed YY Group, plans to increase its retail promoter workforce five-fold from 120 to 600 people as part of its expansion strategy, the company said on March 2, 2026. This move is expected to support a projected revenue of about US$14 million in 2026, significantly diversifying its services beyond hospitality.
The expanded workforce will be deployed across major supermarket chains nationwide, and managed via the company’s proprietary YY Circle platform for scheduling, performance tracking and deployment optimisation.
YY Group’s strategic shift toward retail services in Malaysia highlights the growing demand for on-demand workforce solutions in the country’s retail sector, a trend expected to support broader revenue growth and business diversification.
