Bask Bear
Bask Bear, a Malaysian coffee brand, collaborates with Village Park Nasi Lemak to introduce Bask Bear Sambal Toasties, combining their toasties with the popular Village Park Nasi Lemak Sambal.
This collaboration aims to bring traditional Malaysian flavors into their innovative toasties. Bryan Loo, the founder of Loob Holding, emphasizes the growing demand for spicy flavors in baked goods and expects significant growth for Bask Bear in 2024.
The toasties come in three variants: Sambal Beef, Sambal Crispy Chicken, and Sambal Hashbrown and Egg, priced between RM12.90 to RM14.90. To celebrate the launch, they offer promotions such as free Hazelnut Choco latte with a Sambal Toastie purchase and interactive games at Jaya Grocer Starling Mall.
Moreover, they introduce the Bask Bear App, providing seamless ordering experiences, membership rewards, and a 40% discount for new users on their first purchase. The app offers benefits like double points for every RM spent, complimentary drinks during the birthday month, and monthly member-exclusive promotions. The new Sambal Toasties will be available in company’s stores from 4th to 31st January 2024, excluding certain locations.
“Drawing inspiration from Malaysia’s flavourful culinary heritage, renowned for our bold and
spicy preferences, we recognize that spiciness is not just a trend but an integral part of Malaysian
life”, says Bryan Loo, founder and CEO of Loob Holding Sdn Bhd.
