Desa Kerayong Indah’s long-awaited revival reaches a key milestone, with major infrastructure progress, renewed homebuyer confidence, and fresh opportunities for families seeking affordable homeownership.
The revival of Desa Kerayong Indah has reached a significant milestone, marking a major step forward in the recovery of one of Selangor’s longest-delayed housing developments. Hundreds of homebuyers, community members and stakeholders attended a special open house officiated by Borhan Aman Shah, highlighting the progress achieved under the project’s structured revival programme.
Located on a 216-acre site in Kuala Selangor, Desa Kerayong Indah was originally launched in 1999 as a state initiative aimed at providing organised settlement opportunities and affordable homeownership. However, the development was left in limbo for years after the original contractor failed to complete the project.
Today, the township is progressing under the leadership of Probil Industries (M) Sdn. Bhd., appointed as the rescue contractor by Lembaga Perumahan dan Hartanah Selangor, together with Dimensi Jayamas Sdn. Bhd. as the recognised joint venture contractor and developer.
Key achievements include completed earthworks, substantial progress on drainage infrastructure, retention ponds and sewerage facilities, alongside ongoing building works. These developments have been supported through close coordination with multiple government agencies and utility providers.
The township is now open for sale, offering bungalow homes from RM500,000 with land sizes starting from 4,000 sq ft. Strategically located near Universiti Teknologi MARA, the project is expected to benefit from future infrastructure developments, including the East Coast Rail Link.
For existing purchasers, the revival programme offers dedicated support and structured solutions aimed at helping them secure their long-awaited homes.
