E&O, Majestic Gen Partner to Develop Prime Jalan Kia Peng Land

Eastern & Oriental Berhad (E&O) and Majestic Gen have today announced the acquisition of an approximately 5,682-square-metre freehold site along Jalan Kia Peng through KP Urban Sdn Bhd (KP Urban).

The acquisition was undertaken by KCB Holdings Sdn Bhd (KCB), a wholly-owned subsidiary of E&O, and Golden Urban Nite Sdn Bhd (GUN), an affiliated company of Majestic Gen. KCB holds a 66.67% equity interest in KP Urban, with GUN holding the remaining 33.33%.

Set within the Jalan Kia Peng and KLCC precinct, opposite The RuMa Hotel & Residences and adjacent to the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre, the site is envisioned as a distinctive high-rise residential development. Its proximity to Suria KLCC, Pavilion Kuala Lumpur, KLCC Park and key rail links places it among the city centre’s most connected residential addresses.

The acquisition brings together E&O’s placemaking and design expertise with Majestic Gen’s development capabilities, reflecting both partners’ confidence in the long-term strength of Kuala Lumpur’s premium residential market.
