Galaxy Z Fold4 | Galaxy Z Flip4 – Where Innovation & Sustainability Co-Exist

When contemplating progress, the typical concern revolves around its impact on the environment, often inducing a sense of unease. However, it is essential to consider whether sustainability and innovation can coexist harmoniously. In truth, the way forward for our planet necessitates the simultaneous pursuit of both ideals.

Samsung’s Environmental Commitment

“At Samsung, our commitment to preserving Mother Nature has become inherent in all that we do. Our Galaxy for the Planet vision represents an ongoing journey to discover novel methods of integrating sustainability and innovation.

“In pursuit of this goal, we have delved deep into the oceans and waste heaps, leading us to develop eco-conscious materials derived from repurposed fishing nets, post-consumer materials (PCM), and bio-based resin. These materials are ingeniously transformed into the components of our Galaxy devices.”

Eco-Conscious Materials and Innovations

A prime example is the Galaxy Z Fold4, wherein the upper case of the top speaker and connector-to-connector brackets are crafted from PCM, while the display connector cap and side key bracket are repurposed from fishing nets.

Likewise, the Galaxy Z Flip4 boasts PCM-made components such as the receiver deco, display connector cap, upper antenna bracket, inner part of the side key, and speaker modules. Additionally, its side key bracket is constructed from repurposed fishing nets.
