Generali has launched Redion, unifying Europ Assistance and GEB under one global Care platform to enhance travel protection, employee benefits, and technology-driven services worldwide.
Generali Group has introduced Redion, a new global brand that unites Europ Assistance and Generali Employee Benefits (GEB) under a single Care platform, reinforcing its position in employee benefits, travel insurance and assistance services worldwide.
The newly launched platform operates across more than 190 countries, employs over 12,000 people and generated €5.8 billion in annual business volume during FY2025. Following the acquisition of Swiss Life Network earlier this year, Redion has become the world’s leading employee benefits provider and the second-largest player in assistance and travel insurance.
According to Generali Group Deputy CEO Giulio Terzariol, Redion reflects the evolution of Generali Care into a fully integrated global platform designed to deliver protection, health and assistance services through a seamless customer experience.
The platform combines Europ Assistance’s expertise in travel insurance and emergency support with GEB’s leadership in employee protection solutions. Generali said existing clients and partners will experience no disruption, with contracts, service teams and service levels remaining unchanged.
Technology and artificial intelligence will play a central role in Redion’s future growth strategy, supporting faster and more personalised services while maintaining human oversight in critical situations.
In Asia, Redion will strengthen its presence in Japan, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Singapore and Thailand, delivering unified travel protection solutions backed by local teams and global support capabilities.
