Johor Business Group Proposes Three Key Measures to Boost Domestic Economy

The Johor Malay Chamber of Commerce (DPMM) has proposed three strategic measures to strengthen Malaysia’s domestic economy amid global uncertainty. The recommendations focus on supporting local businesses and increasing resilience.

DPMM Calls for Policy Support and SME Empowerment

Among the proposals are enhanced financial support for small and medium enterprises, improved market access, and stronger government-private sector collaboration. These measures aim to stimulate local economic activity.

Analysts say such initiatives could help cushion the impact of external shocks while promoting sustainable growth. Strengthening domestic demand will be crucial as global economic conditions remain volatile.
