Mohd Syahrul Ishak is New CEO of Al Rajhi Bank

Al Rajhi Banking & Investment Corporation (Malaysia) Bhd announces Mohd Syahrul Ishak as its new Chief Executive Officer. With over 20 years of banking experience, Ishak is poised to lead the bank’s strategic growth and continue its transformation.

His appointment follows the interim leadership of Muhammed Uzman Muhammed Faleel. Chairman John Roger Winfield expresses confidence in Ishak’s ability to drive operational excellence and innovation, while Ishak emphasizes his commitment to strengthening the bank’s position and delivering Shariah-compliant solutions.

New CEO: Extensive experience

Ishak’s extensive experience includes roles at CIMB Bank, reflecting his strategic leadership and expertise in banking and finance.
