On 17 July 2025, Malaysia Rapid Transit Corporation Sdn Bhd (MRT Corp) announced that the Final Railway Scheme for the MRT3 Circle Line was approved by Transport Minister YB Loke Siew Fook, marking a key milestone. Following a public inspection from 2 September to 2 December 2024, MRT Corp received over 45,000 feedback responses, with 93.3% supporting the project. Based on feedback, MRT Corp reduced the number of land lots for acquisition from 1,012 to 690 and improved station and viaduct placements. The 51-kilometre orbital line will integrate with existing MRT, LRT, KTM, and Monorail lines, featuring 10 interchange stations for seamless Klang Valley travel. Land acquisition will now begin, targeting completion by end-2026, with ongoing community engagement.
