MySyarikat and Maybank Forge Malaysia’s First SME HR–Estate Planning Partnership

KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 3 — Byond Tech Global Berhad, the Malaysian developer of HR-tech platform MySyarikat, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Maybank to launch Malaysia’s first integrated HR and estate planning solution for SMEs.

The collaboration embeds legacy and succession planning into MySyarikat’s cloud-based HR system, supporting SMEs beyond payroll and recruitment by addressing long-term business continuity. MySyarikat, launched in 2019, serves more than 27,000 businesses and 180,000 users across Malaysia, Singapore, Brunei, and Indonesia.

MySyarikat on the partnership

Founder and CEO Malik Hairuddin said the partnership empowers SMEs to prepare for the future with clarity and confidence, while Maybank Trustees CEO Nor Fazlina Mohd Ghouse stressed the importance of succession planning to safeguard businesses from instability.

Byond Tech is also expanding its ecosystem and preparing for an IPO, positioning this move as a milestone in both SME digitalisation and financial literacy.
