NTT DATA Foresight Report 2026 Highlights Six Tech Trends Driving Global Innovation

Malaysia – 9 – March 2026NTT DATA has released its Technology Foresight Report 2026, identifying six key trends shaping the future of innovation. As businesses enter the age of mass intelligence, the report emphasizes strategies that balance autonomy, trust, and sustainability.

The six trends include human-orchestrated autonomy, where intelligent systems act at scale but remain guided by human intent; embodied agency and emotions, highlighting emotionally responsive systems as social infrastructure; and intelligence we trust, focusing on adaptive cybersecurity.

Tech trends

Informed infrastructure is set to optimize performance across hybrid environments, while sovereign silicon ecosystems underscore semiconductor innovation for national resilience. Finally, the shift from illusory efficiency to sufficiency calls for responsible growth within planetary boundaries.
