Report highlights trading behavior, capital flows, and profitability trends

KUALA LUMPUR – Followme has published its 2025 Annual Trading Report, analyzing real trading data from nearly 30,000 active accounts. The report shows a strong average win rate of 63.8%, but profitability remains constrained, with a profit-to-loss ratio of 0.5. Copy-trading accounts achieved the highest profitability, while self-directed trading dominated activity, accounting for nearly 90% of trades. Deposits and withdrawals both fell by around 35%, reflecting weaker funding activity and lower risk appetite among retail traders.

Trading behavior

Gold (XAUUSD) remained the most traded asset, representing 87.7% of orders, though only 30% of accounts were profitable. Broker performance highlighted the importance of execution speed and connection stability in reducing losses. The report also noted that AI tools are increasingly used for strategy creation, risk control, and trade optimization, reshaping retail trading. Followme emphasized that disciplined risk management and technology empowerment will be key drivers of future trading success
