Japan Pavilon at COP28
Toshiba Corporation and Toshiba Energy Systems & Solutions Corporation will showcase innovative technologies at the Japan Pavilion during the 28th Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP28) in Dubai.
The technologies include SCiB, a lithium-ion rechargeable battery with a long life and rapid charging capabilities; AEROXIA, an eco-friendly alternative to sulfur hexafluoride in power facilities; and P2C (Power to Chemicals), a system that transforms CO2 into valuable resources using renewable energy.
These technologies contribute to the global goal of achieving carbon neutrality. The COP28 Japan Pavilion will highlight Japan’s products, services, and initiatives in addressing climate change.
Toshiba’s energy solutions, selected by the Ministry of the Environment, Government of Japan, cover the entire energy lifecycle, emphasizing the company’s commitment to sustainability and environmental responsibility. The exhibition aims to raise awareness and foster discussions on innovative technologies contributing to a sustainable future.
