The fleet card
The Domestic Trade and Cost of Living Ministry in Malaysia is coordinating appeals from certain transport sectors to join the Subsidised Diesel Control System (SKDS).
Minister Datuk Armizan Mohd Ali stated that complete applications for 33 types of public land transport and goods will receive immediate approval.
Applications can be submitted online, and approval letters will be issued instantly, enabling companies to apply for fleet cards. Companies are encouraged to apply before June 30 for reimbursement of subsidy expenses.
The ministry warns of strict action against misuse of fleet cards. As of June 23, 226,957 vehicles from 75,541 companies have been approved for the subsidy.
