V.S. Industry Stake Brightens Despite Shareholder Disposals

AM Research has raised its exposure in V.S. Industry (VSI) from 1.5% to 4% of its model portfolio, despite the stock falling 22% in the past three months. The decline followed heavy share disposals by major shareholders Datuk Beh Kim Ling and Beh Chern Wei, who offloaded 183 million and 31 million shares respectively between Aug 25 and Sept 19, 2025. Both have pledged securities, according to VSI’s latest annual report. AM Research maintains confidence in VSI’s fundamentals, citing current valuations at 9.4x PE versus its historical average of 12.7x as a re-entry opportunity.
