Vendfun launched its compact Nano-S self check-in kiosk at HOSAS 2026, offering paperless operations, integrated loyalty features and automated guest verification for smaller hotels across ASEAN.
Vendfun Sdn. Bhd. has introduced the Nano-S, a compact self check-in kiosk aimed at helping independent, boutique and budget hotels improve operational efficiency while enhancing the guest experience.
Launched at HOSAS 2026, the fifth-generation kiosk combines a receipt printer, passport and ID scanner, payment terminal and card dispenser into a single detachable unit designed to minimise counter space. Hotels can also operate without paper receipts by sending electronic receipts directly to guests via email.
The payment terminal supports deposit pre-authorisation, reducing manual front desk tasks while helping hotels protect revenue. Each Nano-S unit also comes with Vendfun’s Membership Solution at no additional cost, automatically enrolling guests into a loyalty programme during check-in. Guests who stay 10 nights within a year receive one complimentary night, encouraging repeat bookings and higher occupancy.
Chief executive officer Benny Wee said the Nano-S was designed to deliver a compact, user-friendly solution that modernises hotel check-in while helping operators strengthen guest relationships through an integrated loyalty platform.
The kiosk also features Vendfun’s proprietary passport and ID scanner, which is capable of recognising identity documents from multiple countries through a continuously expanding in-house learning system.
An optional HD camera supports facial verification and video concierge services. In Singapore, the camera is included as a standard feature to meet requirements under the Singapore Tourism Board’s EVA-Ready Programme.
Following deployments across 12 Malaysian states and several international markets, Vendfun plans to expand Nano-S availability across ASEAN later this year.
