The Access Group Malaysia Launches Free eInvoicing for Active UBS Users
KUALA LUMPUR, MALAYSIA – The Access Group in Malaysia has announced its readiness to roll out a free eInvoicing feature for active users of UBS software, widely utilized by over 100,000 SMEs in Malaysia. This development aligns with the upcoming LHDN regulations set to begin in August 2024, emphasizing Access’ dedication to digital transformation in the APAC region.
Partnering with the Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC), Access has established a Global Operation Centre (GO Centre) in Kuala Lumpur. The company’s Peppol-Ready Solution Providers (PRSP) application is pending final solution demonstration.
Evan Puzey, General Manager of ERP APAC, stated, “Our top priority is our customers, so we’re providing the UBS eInvoicing feature free of charge to active users of our UBS account, billing, and inventory modules, provided there are no third-party costs from government agencies or their partners.”

Beta testing for the eInvoicing feature will commence in June, with hundreds of companies across various industries participating. The feature aims to streamline the invoicing process, enhancing efficiency and compliance for businesses. Capabilities include API submission to LHDN, status monitoring, invoice approval, and generation of PDF invoices with QR codes and Unique Identifier Numbers.
For the past six months, Access has been hosting monthly webinars to update customers and partners on the progress and impact of eInvoicing. Over 7,000 participants have attended, preparing businesses for the transition to electronic invoicing.
