Singapore Reviewing Malaysia’s Request for 4am Cross-Border Bus Services from Johor Bahru

Singapore’s Land Transport Authority (LTA) and bus operators are reviewing a Malaysian request to begin cross-border bus services from Johor Bahru at 4am instead of 5am. The request, made on June 17, aims to reduce long passenger queues forming at the Johor Bahru Checkpoint by 4am. Discussions are ongoing with public operators SBS Transit and SMRT, as well as private bus companies. Currently, the earliest weekday departure by SBST is at 5am for service 160, and 5.20am for service 170.
