CyberArk Acquires Zilla Security to Enhance Identity Governance

CyberArk (NASDAQ: CYBR), a leader in identity security, has acquired Zilla Security, an AI-powered Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) provider, for $165 million in cash, with a potential $10 million earn-out. This acquisition strengthens CyberArk’s Identity Security Platform by integrating scalable automation for identity compliance and provisioning across digital environments.

CyberArk’s expertise

Legacy IGA solutions, designed for on-premises environments, often struggle with slow, manual processes. In contrast, modern IGA, like Zilla’s, is cloud-native, AI-driven, and offers seamless integrations with SaaS and cloud applications. By combining CyberArk’s expertise in identity security with Zilla’s advanced IGA capabilities, the acquisition aims to enhance security, streamline compliance, and improve operational efficiency for enterprises navigating digital transformation.
