Epstein Files: Justice Dept Admits No ‘Client List’, MAGA Furious Over “Truckload” Evidence Inexistence
The US Justice Department and FBI are facing backlash after deciding to withhold further records from the Jeffrey Epstein sex trafficking investigation, fuelling anger among far-right media and Trump supporters. Attorney General Pam Bondi and FBI Deputy Director Dan Bongino clashed over the decision, threatening their working relationship. Trump defended Bondi, writing on social media: “They’re all going after Attorney General Pam Bondi, who is doing a FANTASTIC JOB! We’re on one Team, MAGA.”
The controversy erupted after officials stated Epstein did not have a “client list,” contradicting Bondi’s earlier claim that such a document sat on her desk. The released prison video also raised doubts due to a missing minute. In February, conservative influencers were given “The Epstein Files: Phase 1” binders at the White House, but contents were already public. Despite Bondi’s claims of a “truckload” of new evidence, the Justice Department concluded “no further disclosure would be appropriate or warranted,” citing court seals protecting victims.
