FedEx Expands EV Fleet in Malaysia with 41 New Electric Delivery Vans

KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 23 — FedEx Express, a subsidiary of FedEx Corp, has strengthened its sustainability commitment in Malaysia with the rollout of 41 new Maxus e-Deliver 3 electric vans. The deployment expands its eco-friendly operations across Kuala Lumpur, Johor Bahru, Ipoh, Penang and the Klang Valley.

Each van has a 920kg load capacity and up to 228km range per charge, together expected to cut 305 metric tonnes of annual CO2 emissions compared to diesel counterparts. To support the fleet, FedEx installed 41 AC and DC charging stations nationwide earlier this year.

The initiative aligns with FedEx’s global target of carbon-neutral operations and a fully electric fleet by 2040, while supporting Malaysia’s Low Carbon Mobility Blueprint. FedEx also continues to empower customers with FedEx® Sustainability Insights to reduce supply chain emissions.
