Despite the challenging environment, significant opportunities remain. By focusing on delivering differentiated customer value, we will create continuous growth – LG CEO William Cho.

Strategic Roadmap

LG’s Future Vision 2030 centers on expanding from a device-centric business to a smart life solutions company, targeting mobility and commercial spaces. Cho underlined the importance of delivering differentiated customer value to unlock continuous growth, despite shifting competitive paradigms and delayed global market recovery.

LG’s subscription services have emerged as a critical growth driver, combining devices with tailored care solutions. With services already launched in Malaysia, Thailand, and Taiwan, LG is expanding to India, Singapore, and Hong Kong in 2025. Subscription service revenue surged over 75% in 2024, surpassing KRW 2 trillion, with a goal to triple by 2030.

LG – Profitability

The platform-based webOS service business, centered on content and advertising, aims to quintuple revenue by 2030, contributing 20% to LG’s operating profit. With over KRW 1 trillion earned in 2024, LG is redefining itself as a global innovator in customer-centric technology solutions.
