LONGi Green Energy Technology Co. achieved a remarkable feat by breaking another world-record for silicon solar cell efficiency, reaching 27.30% with its latest HBC solar cells.
This achievement underscores the company’s continued leadership in the global solar energy industry, marking the 17th time the company has set such a record since April 2021.
Alongside this milestone, the company unveiled its flagship Hi-MO 9 module during a celebratory event in Madrid.
The Hi-MO 9 module, based on 2nd generation Hybrid Passivated Back Contact (HPBC) solar cell technology and TaiRay wafer, offers up to 660W capacity and an impressive 24.43% efficiency.
Dennis She, Vice President of LONGi Green Energy Technology Co., highlighted the module’s superiority, stating, “Our new Hi-MO 9 module allows world-leading power generation and outmatches other technologies on the market in an equal land-use scenario.”
This innovation reaffirms the company’s commitment to advancing solar technology and promoting sustainable energy solutions.
