Nestlé’s MILO turns 1st-year recycled packs into sports gear for 200+ schools

KUALA LUMPUR: Nestlé Malaysia’s MILO has successfully completed the first year of its “Energy For Good” (Tenaga Untuk Kebaikan) sustainability campaign, transforming used beverage cartons (UBCs) into sports equipment and school furniture for over 200 schools.

Nestle’s MILO 1st-year recycled packs

Supported by the Ministry of Education, the initiative engaged more than 250,000 students through a point-based recycling and redemption system. Starting with five pilot schools on the East Coast, the programme partnered with AFN Sports to upcycle collected cartons into practical items, promoting both active lifestyles and environmental awareness.

MILO® says the campaign reinforces its commitment to healthier youth and a greener Malaysia.
