The Dow Jones edged up 0.02%, the S&P 500 added 0.2%, and the Nasdaq rose 0.07%.
In the Asia-Pacific, markets were mixed on Tuesday. The Shanghai Composite slipped 0.9% after hitting fresh 2025 highs earlier in the session, while the Hang Seng Index climbed 1.6%, driven by tech stocks benefiting from the DeepSeek effect.
Meanwhile, Japan’s Nikkei 225 and South Korea’s KOSPI gained 0.3% and 0.6%, respectively, amid rising European defense spending.
