The Nikkei Forum Medini, Johor 2025, co-organized by Iskandar Investment Berhad (IIB) and Nikkei Inc., concluded on June 19, 2025, after two days of high-level discussions in Medini, Malaysia. Attracting over 500 decision-makers from Japan, Malaysia, and Southeast Asia, the forum reinforced Medini’s role as a regional hub for innovation and business collaboration. Key topics included digital transformation, fintech, ESG investment, sustainable infrastructure, and cross-border startup partnerships, emphasizing Japan–ASEAN cooperation.
Held at Sunway Hotel Big Box, the event showcased Medini’s readiness as a platform for business and MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) through its talent pipeline via EduCity Iskandar, RM2.2 billion in infrastructure upgrades, and business-friendly policies under the Johor-Singapore Special Economic Zone (JSSEZ).
