Rafizi and Nik Nazmi's resignation does not impede RMK13 implementation
The resignation of two key ministers—Rafizi Ramli (Economy) and Nik Nazmi Nik Ahmad (Natural Resources and Environmental Sustainability)—will not delay the completion of the National Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) Strategic Plan (NESP) or the 13th Malaysia Plan (RMK13), says Deputy Economy Minister Datuk Hanifah Hajar Taib.
RMK13 is nearly ready for Cabinet presentation, while NESP is still in progress with no confirmed timeline. Hanifah reassured that civil servants are continuing work with clear direction, and ESG integration remains a national priority. The statements were made during the Forward Faster 2025 Symposium hosted by UNGCMYB.
