Nik Nazmi unveils the 6th ISES at COP28

Malaysia’s Minister of Natural Resources, Environment, and Climate Change, YB Nik Nazmi Nik Ahmad, has announced the 6th International Sustainable Energy Summit (ISES) to take place from August 20 to 21, 2024.

The announcement was made on Monday, 4th December 2023 at the 28th Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE), marking another major step in Malaysia’s ongoing efforts to champion sustainable energy on a global scale.

6th ISES 2024

The 6th ISES 2024 is organised by SEDA in collaboration with the Ministry of Natural Resources, Environment, and Climate Change (NRECC).

Themed “Accelerating Energy Transition Through Innovation,” the Summit mirrors Malaysia’s dedication to propelling the global energy transition through innovative strategies and will showcase groundbreaking sustainable solutions through insightful conferences, extensive exhibitions, technology showcases, trade programmes, and business matching sessions.

“Innovation, a pivotal aspect of advancement and progress, will take center stage in the era of cleaner and more efficient energy solutions. I look forward to increased participation from global experts and industries alike for this year’s summit. The 6th ISES 2024 is a testament to Malaysia’s unwavering commitment to achieving a just and systematic energy transition,” sats Nik Nazmi.
