This move represents the first entry of a Malaysian public-listed food and beverage company into the Nordic coffee scene. BFI aims to combine Starbucks’ high standards with its own operational expertise, promising an enhanced Starbucks Experience.
The partnership, announced by BFI CEO Dato’ Sydney Quays and Starbucks Europe President Duncan Moir, focuses on local hiring, community engagement, and sustainability. The expansion also involves collaboration with Denmark’s Salling Group to strengthen the Starbucks presence in Denmark.
