The Producer Price Index fell 3.4%, led by a 17.8% drop in mining. Food-at-home inflation stalled at 0%, while food-away-from-home rose 4.4%. Diesel prices eased to RM2.81/litre, and RON97 petrol fell to RM3.11/litre. Chief Statistician Mohd Uzir noted 59.7% of items rose, but 31.4% declined, balancing inflation, with Kelantan at 0.3% and Johor at 1.8%.
