NTT Group partners with ClimateForce to create the world’s first Smart Rainforest, utilizing NTT’s technology to regenerate a section of Australia’s Daintree Rainforest.
ClimateForce aims to develop replicable models for environmental restoration, with NTT DATA providing operational and fundraising support.
The initiative focuses on leveraging AI, data analytics, and predictive analytics to assess reforestation techniques and protect biodiversity. NTT DATA’s involvement stems from their shared commitment to sustainability and aligns with their vision for a sustainable future.
“ClimateForce is a proving ground for technologies that protect biodiversity and help mitigate climate change,” says Barney Swan, CEO and Co-founder of ClimateForce.
“The generous support from NTT and NTT DATA will help us quickly expand our initiative in the Daintree and speed our goal of developing replicable models that regenerate ecosystems, protect biodiversity and foster resilient local economies in other locations.”
Bob Pryor, CEO, NTT DATA Services: “We’re extending this relationship and help ClimateForce with its mission in the tropics, which perfectly aligns with our own vision for realizing a sustainable future.”
