Anwar Ibrahim is under pressure to deliver concrete reforms after two years in power
Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim announced that the Madani Government has implemented 144 development projects in Sabah, totaling RM14 billion. Speaking at the closing of the 2025 Madani Rakyat Programme in Tawau on May 11, 2025, he highlighted projects like upgrading Tawau Hospital, building a container port in Sepanggar Bay, and a RM350 million solar initiative. Anwar also approved RM10 million for market stall maintenance, emphasizing support for mothers on Mother’s Day. He stressed efforts to address poverty, enhance connectivity, and promote digitalization, urging youth to contribute ideas for Malaysia’s progress.
