Speaking in a YouTube video on May 10, Wong highlighted the Singapore Economic Resilience Task Force’s efforts, led by Deputy Prime Minister Gan Kim Yong, to address economic impacts from US tariffs. A Singapore Business Federation survey revealed that most businesses face revenue declines and hiring freezes. Wong announced immediate support measures, including corporate tax rebates and cash grants. He stressed forming a government team blending experience and fresh perspectives.
