Sarawak may become the final assembly hub for VoltAero’s hybrid-electric Cassio aircraft, following a partnership between VoltAero, SEDC Energy, and ACI Groupe. The collaboration includes building an assembly and innovation centre, training local talent, and setting up a pilot academy. The deal also covers technology transfer, hydrogen propulsion development, and establishing a regional supply chain. The joint venture gains manufacturing and distribution rights for the Asia-Pacific, with plans for mobile charging at airports and demo flights to promote hybrid-electric aviation.
