Starbucks Hit With Lawsuits Over Dress Code Costs in Three States

Starbucks is facing legal action in California, Colorado, and Illinois after employees alleged the company’s new dress code forces them to buy work attire without reimbursement. With support from the union organizing its workers, three employees filed class-action lawsuits in Illinois and Colorado on Sept. 17 and submitted complaints in California.
