Türkiye will host the inaugural GITEX Ai Türkiye 2026 at the Istanbul Expo Centre from September 9–10, 2026, marking a major milestone in the nation’s ambition to become a global AI powerhouse. Organised by KAOUN International in partnership with Invest in Türkiye and the Ministry of Industry and Technology, the event will showcase advancements in AI, cybersecurity, fintech, gaming, and cloud technologies.

The partnership was formalised during GITEX GLOBAL 2025 in Dubai, where representatives from both nations emphasised Türkiye’s growing tech potential. Officials highlighted the country’s 1,059 AI startups, over 1,300 R&D centres, and rising high-tech exports exceeding USD 100 billion. GITEX Ai Türkiye aims to attract international investors, accelerate AI adoption, and foster cross-border collaboration.

East and West

KAOUN International CEO Trixie LohMirmand said the event will position Türkiye as the bridge between East and West, driving Eurasia’s emergence as a vital player in the global AI ecosystem.
